White and Gold Beaded Rose Wedding Bouquet by slightly-caustic White and Gold Beaded Rose Wedding Bouquet by slightly-caustic
The wire beaded flower bouquet that I made for my wedding.  This was my first attempt at wire beading flowers but I think it came out very well.  It took me 11 months to make my bouquet, the bridesmaids' and mother's bouquets, and boutonnieres, and that was after about 6 months of fooling around and picking my favorite beads and flowers.

White roses were made using Miyuki 15/0 Rocaille Beads
Gold accents were using Preciosa Czech 11/0 Round Beads

White and Gold Beaded Rose Wedding Bouquet by slightly-caustic represents an impressive amount of work, but the end result is incredibly elegant and it could easily pass as real flowers. The rest of the bouquets are just as impressive, and they're available in this artist's gallery. ( Featured by Talty )

The detail in the roses is exceptional. Excellent job! Very beautiful work, so, how much does the bouquet weigh? (Worth every ounce, I just know that this was not easy to carry!)

Very lovely made, and if you kept it it would been the heirloom for your future daughter's wedding.

So beautiful! I do beadwork, although I don't do the wire beading. But I know what goes into this, and you did a wonderful job! What a lot of work! Congrats on the DD!

The tutorial I started with was this one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVMjVf… .  I watched it and followed what she was doing (I could not understand the words).  The smallest three sizes of petals are pretty much the same as hers but I made a lot of changes to the largest size petal (I switched it around so the big central wire is on the inside so you cannot see it and finish them by feeding the extra wire through the beads instead of her wrapping method, among other things).  That video gave me the basics and I then adapted it to fit my aesthetics and project.
