Yay! My summer class is officially done and I am back from my Vacation, so, now I have all the free time in the word ... to focus on grad school and studding for the GRE ... ...

I have resolved to try and make at least on doll every 1.5 weeks, and if I manage to complete 6 dolls before August I will be allowed to ask for a DA sub for my b-day XP I have so many good ideas but I am always "busy" and am, well, a lazy procrastinator, so I never get things done, which makes me sad. Hopefully, I will follow through and some of those dolls are requests and gifts, not just example dolls for Battle Royale XD

I kept all of my awards too XP My site was Kixxi's Dollz (or Dolls). Apparently you entered my first two contests -> [link] and [link] ... the pixel "art" on those awards is so scary XD

Yeah, I also fell into dolls because it was easier than hand drawing ... unfortunately, I still have issues with hand drawing, though I think it has helped me improve ...

Oh my!! I remember now!! lol Those dolls were sooo bad, also one of my first contests that I got in. Looks like we both came a long way since then ;)

It IS easier than drawing, trust me, I gave issues drawing bodies all over, I just love to make hair and clothes, I guess I still have a bit of a doller in me lol But I made part of the toolshading minority. I remember a 'fight' upsising back on The Underground saing that ToolShaders couldn't be considered true dollers... I just couldn't do pixels to save my life... And well, you watch me, I watch you lol

Tool shaders are considered to be people now, lol ... the community currently hates those who trace images to make bases and is now becoming more tolerant of those who use both pixel and tool shading in the same doll ... I personally think tool shading is awesome because generally if you can tool shade you can pull off CG too ... I can't XD I try to use paint shop pro and end up retreating back to Paint whimpering. The weird thing is that I draw my bases by hand, but I make all of my clothes in Paint. I just can't do anatomy with pixels (not that I am that great at it to begin with, but I try ...) and I have issues with hair and clothes on paper.

Aaww, I'm a person now!! lol I never made a base, to be truthfull, the ones I made wre traced from Anime images, so I guess I'm one to still be hated. Who wants to go with the flow, anyway ehehehe ;)

Paint shop pro? Girl, you need Photoshop! Easier to handle, at least on my opinion. Most people draw bases by hand, because unles syou have a tablet, drawing with a mouse it's hell, take it from me!

meh, I made traced bases in the past, that was how bases were made for the first decade or so ... I just never reposted them when I started making dolls again ...

I don't know about Photoshop, I had an old bootlegged version back in the day and I could never figure anything out in it, so I stuck with PSP. And I actually have a tablet, but that is another story XD
